Seoul [April 2, 2024] – Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, today announced the appointment of Steve Kim as the new sales director (사장) of South Korea.
With over 25 years of experience, Kim is an industry veteran with extensive background and deep knowledge on digital trends, Industry 4.0, and sustainability trends shaping the local market. Prior to joining Vertiv, Kim previously worked in several roles with IBM, Schneider Electric, Danfoss and most recently Cognex. He also served as a key executive in several industry associations in Korea.

Kim holds an executive MBA degree from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and completed his doctorate program at Korea University’s Graduate School of Technology Management. He served as vice president of the Korea Sustainable Campus Association and provided lectures on various efforts and methodologies for a sustainable future to various companies and organizations. Kim is also an author of books “Lucky” and “Reflection,” which are both self-development books.
