Legacy distributed network sites were generally specified based on the power requirements of the IT load, regardless of the use case or application being supported. Today’s emerging use cases in retail, healthcare, manufacturing, etc. have far more demanding requirements and must be configured not only to IT requirements but also based on the latency, bandwidth, availability, and security requirements of the use case. This presentation will focus on solutions that bridge the widening gap in legacy distributed network sites shifting purpose from connectivity and convenience to mission critical data center operation at the edge of networks.
