Specifications
The flexible design of the Liebert® TAA-compliant PSI5 allows the UPS to be configured as a self-standing tower or to be rack-mounted within a 2U space. It is available from 1500VA to 3000VA for 120V applications. The Liebert® PSI5 UPS features an innovative advanced line-interactive design incorporating both boost and buck Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) technology. This protects connected equipment against utility voltage fluctuation (sags and surges) by automatically increasing or decreasing utility voltage levels, as required. It also helps prolong battery life by minimizing the amount of time that the UPS needs to operate on-battery to protect the equipment. Models with a capacity of 1500VA and below are not for sale in Vermont, Colorado, Washington.

Configurable outlets for load management. Cycle power to hung devices and load shed connected equipment, prioritizing critical devices to extend availability while on battery backup power.

Advanced battery charging including temperature compensation
A three-stage charger with a smart control CPU optimizes the battery charging cycle and maximizes battery life.

User-replaceable, hot-swappable batteries
User-replaceable batteries may be swapped out quickly and safely without disruption and without having to turn off connected equipment.

Scalable runtime
When longer runtime is desired, External Battery Cabinets (EBC) may be added to the Rack/Tower UPS models to increase the runtime and availability of your connected devices.

Re-settable breaker protects against equipment damage from a short circuit or overload.

Network grade surge protection meets ANSI C62.41, Category B standards, providing a high level of input surge protection.

Optional management and communication cards
Intellislot™ enables network integration connectivity and allows remote monitoring, start-up or restart of the connected equipment. SNMP, Modbus, BACnet and environmental sensor options are available.

Power Assist software for local management via USB. Easy to install and allows for simple configuring, monitoring, alarm notifications and management of the UPS. Automatic shutdown options protect connected equipment during an extended power loss and ensure against data loss.
Power Insight software for on-premise and remote UPS monitoring and management with notifications and control of network connected devices. Configurable, automatic shutdown for physical and virtual servers. Includes integrations with VMWare vCenter, Dell VXRail Manager, and Nutanix Prism Central. Provides a single dashboard view of the UPS status, alarms, notifications, and summary data.

Equipment Protection Plan (EPP)
$400,000 Equipment Protection Plan provides reimbursement or replacement of any connected equipment that is damaged by a power surge while connected to your Vertiv UPS.

Trade-In Program
Allows you to trade in an aging Vertiv or competitor's UPS for a new Vertiv equivalent UPS at a discount. Vertiv will manage the collection and disposal of your old UPS at no cost.
