The Liebert APS is a modular, single phase output UPS, with both single and three phase input options to provide both high availability and flexibility. The Liebert APS adapts efficiently and effectively to both immediate and evolving power requirements, offering capacity on demand with flexible power modules which allow capacity upgrades in 5 kVA/4.5kW increments up to 20 kVA N+1.

5kVA – 20kVA N+1, scalable in 5kVA increments
‘Pay as you grow’ architecture allows the addition of power and battery modules as infrastructure demands increase; initial investment is optimized for immediate power and runtime requirements.

Internal redundancy at module level
Fault tolerance at power, battery and control module level means there is no single point of failure; in case of component failure, the module will take itself off line whilst continuing to deliver conditioned power to the attached load.

Redundant capability from 5kVA to 20kVA
N+1 operation at all capacity levels ensure critical loads are supported even in the event of overload or fault conditions.

Online double conversion topology
Reliable online double conversion topology isolates connected equipment from utility power disturbances while providing top of the line voltage/frequency regulation and surge protection. It is generator friendly with zero transfer time and features an internal automatic bypass.

Pure sinewave output
Pure sinewave output while on battery simulates utility power and is compatible with active power factor corrected power supplies.

High output power factor
Each power module is 5kVA/4.5kW, providing more actual power to the load, increasing power density.

Pre-installed network card and 3 Intellislots for additional cards
Free remote management capability immediately following installation, UPS status and key metrics available at a glance. 3 open card slots for options including environmental sensors and relays.

Power Output Distribution (POD) modules offer a variety of outlet types to suit all site requirements.

User-replaceable, hot-swappable modules
Power, battery and control modules may be swapped out quickly and easily without having to disturb or compromise the load.

LCD display
An intuitive LCD display that provides UPS status, power metrics, configuration options, alarms, and fault codes to manage the UPS.

Intelligent Battery System with temperature compensated charging
Protects the battery from overcharging and extends the battery life; reduces battery replacement and associated service costs.

Extendable runtime
When longer runtime is desired, additional battery modules may be added to the main frame and separate external battery cabinets may be added, all while the load is still running. An optional battery charger is available when adding external battery cabinets, for faster recharge time.

Tower or rack configuration
The APS may be floor-standing or rackmount, suitable for room or row installation.

External bypass
Optional external maintenance bypass to support the load during planned maintenance or UPS upgrades

Emergency Power Off (EPO)
Remote UPS shutoff in the event of a fire or other onsite emergency.

Free management software
Power Insight software for on-premise and remote UPS monitoring and management with notifications and control of network connected devices. Configurable, automatic shutdown for physical and virtual servers. Includes integrations with VMWare vCenter, Dell VXRail Manager, and Nutanix Prism Central. Provides a single dashboard view of the UPS status, alarms, notifications, and summary data.
