With the increasing use of AI and high-performance computing, data centers are now designed to handle 100MW and have densities of 30kW per rack. This puts pressure on data center buildings to maximize their available space and meet the requirements of customers with larger workloads.
During this broadcast, speakers will delve into the ways in which data center buildings are evolving to handle the increasing weight of racks and cooling requirements. Speakers will highlight the advent of more widespread robotics in construction and direct-to-chip cooling, as well as the impact of retrofitting on data centers that need to double their capacity with the same building footprint. In addition, practical insights will be given on how to include high-density workloads throughout the design process.
