Sasaki brings customer focus and operational experience to Vertiv LATAM’s top sales leadership role.
São Paulo, Brazil [June 24, 2024] – Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, announced the appointment of Alex Sasaki as the vice president of sales for the Latin America region. In this role, Alex will lead the sales organization in unlocking the potential of the growing data center market. His responsibilities include management of sales operations, named accounts, and channel sales activities, to provide strategic support to LATAM customers.
Sasaki has more than 20 years of sales and sales management experience in the technology sector, including acting as a consultant in the selling process, analyzing the challenges of each customer's critical infrastructure and identifying new opportunities for growth and process improvement. His previous roles at Vertiv include director of order management and technology applications, management of technical sales, applications, sales order processes, and a product manager for channel products for Latin America, working with Vertiv's sales team to address customers' challenges in terms of critical infrastructure.

Vertiv’s presence in the LATAM region includes sales and services offices in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, and Chile, as well as manufacturing facilities and engineering centers in Mexico. With this announcement, Sasaki replaces Rafael Garrido, vice president, LATAM, who is leaving Vertiv to pursue other opportunities.
