Strategic industry collaborators CommScope and Honeywell help to propel the program's success
Mexico, DF [February 13, 2024] – Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, announced today the conclusion of its first Data Center Professional Academy certification program. The program, sponsored by industry leaders CommScope and Honeywell, has certified 51 channel partner organizations and 64 participants from 24 countries in the region. This achievement marks a significant step forward in enhancing the knowledge of industry channel partners who advise customers on their data center infrastructure solutions.
The online learning program was aimed to elevate the skills of Vertiv's Diamond category partners, the highest level in the Latin American region Partner Program. Participants had the opportunity to increase technical and business expertise through modules focused on technological deployment of data center solutions featuring Vertiv, CommScope, and Honeywell technologies, as well as instruction on relevant financial and business topics.
At the program's conclusion, graduates were invited to gather at the Vertiv Monterrey, Nuevo León facility to receive certificates in acknowledgment of their dedication and effort in completing the course. The ceremony was attended by Vertiv LATAM executives, including Saida Ortíz, channel director; Germán Andrés Torres, Diamond channel manager; and Gustavo Pérez, sales director for named accounts. Pérez addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of continuous training for professional development in the dynamic field of data centers.
Participants also had the unique opportunity to tour Vertiv's manufacturing plant in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, and the testing laboratory in Monterrey. These facilities play a crucial role in testing and developing Vertiv's innovative products and solutions, including rack systems, thermal management, energy management, and modular solutions.
