Vertiv Brings Together a Powerhouse Panel to Discuss the 2021 Data Centre Trends Live on LinkedIn

Mumbai, India [January 15, 2021] – Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, is hosting a LinkedIn Live event, Trendspotting: The Track Ahead for the Data Centre Industry in 2021 on January 19th, 2021 at 7:30 pm IST.

This event brings together experts from around the globe with a combined 60+ years of experience in the IT, data centre and manufacturing world to share their regional insights into the recently announced 2021 data centre trends and discuss how these predictions resonate in their regions and impact their customers.

  • Andrew Donoghue, global director analyst relations

Andrew is the global director, analyst relations for Vertiv. He specialises in data centres and critical infrastructure. He is the author of several influential reports covering topics including renewable energy and the data centre; IT power management; and data centre cooling. He has worked for analyst companies such as 451 Research and has also held senior editorial roles at business publishing companies including CBS Interactive and Incisive Media. He has also been involved in a number of European Commission-funded IT research projects into data centre energy efficiency and sustainability.

  • Angie McMillin, vice president of strategic business initiatives

Throughout her more than 25-year career, Angie has brought strategy and vision to the technology sector. As vice president of strategic business initiatives at Vertiv, Angie is responsible for leading a technical product and solutions portfolio through strategic analysis to determine best future options, as well as managing other strategic projects of transformation within the business. With a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and a master’s in engineering and technology management, Angie holds one individual and several shared patents. She is an active promoter and advocate for the next generation of STEM leaders, especially women, and has exemplified her commitment as a founding member of the WAVE (Women at Vertiv Excel) employee resource group. She also was shortlisted as a top 10 finalist for the Edge Woman of the Year award last year.

  • Rafael Garrido, vice president, Latin America

Rafael is the vice president for Vertiv in Latin America. He is responsible for the company’s operations in the entire region. Garrido has been with Vertiv since 2011 and throughout these years, he has significantly contributed to the company’s sustainable growth. Prior to Vertiv, he has worked for ten years for Chloride Brazil. Garrido holds a degree in Electrical Engineering by Universida de Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho.

  • Robert Linsdell, managing director Australia & New Zealand

Robert is the managing director for Vertiv in Australia and New Zealand. In addition to his general management responsibilities, he takes an active role in building the sales and operational capabilities required to drive Vertiv’s customer experience. Based in Sydney, Robert has worked for Vertiv for 8 years. Prior to this, Robert has held general management positions working in USA, Europe and Asia. Robert has over three decades of experience across technology-driven industries including telecom, semi-conductors, electronic materials and speciality coatings. In addition, Robert has previously held board positions with CEPE, Intellect UK and EIPC.
