Andrea Ferro

Karsten Winther
President, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Vertiv 

Karsten Winther is President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for Vertiv. He joined the company in 2018 as Vice President of Sales for EMEA and was promoted to his current position in March 2022. Karsten leads the overall EMEA strategy and performance focused on transitioning towards increasing customer-centric go-to-market approach.

Karsten has over 20 years of tech industry experience in management, sales and marketing functions, including a strong focus on channel and vertical markets. He has also led transformation of large-scale sales organisations. Before joining Vertiv, he held regional and country sales roles at Epson and NEC, and Cobham SATCOM, where he led global sales, marketing and service.

Karsten studied Business Economics at Copenhagen Business School and also completed a 2-year Rising Star programme at Esade in Barcelona, with emphasis on Strategy, Finance, Innovation, CSR and Leadership.

Marketing Communications Manager, Large Power Global Offering, Vertiv 

Anna Remelli is the Marketing Communications Manager for Large Power at Vertiv. She joined Emerson Network Power in 2014 and was promoted to her current position in 2018. Anna drives Vertiv’s brand in the critical power and data center sectors, leading global campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives, and contributing to the company's growth and innovation in the industry.

Anna focuses on sustainability and green technologies, leading the promotion of Dynamic Power initiatives. She has recently begun exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on the data center industry, contributing to the company’s positioning in emerging technological trends.

She holds a Master's degree in Language, Society and Communication from Alma Mater Studiorum, Università di Bologna.

Anna has a passion for music and enjoys playing the guitar.

Vice President Enterprise Solutions & Operations, NVIDIA EMEA

The world of emerging, disruptive technologies has always been a major draw for Carlo. That’s why in 2015 he joined NVIDIA, the pioneer in AI computing. Carlo leads NVIDIA’s Enterprise Solutions and Operations. From scientific discoveries to artificial intelligence, modern data centers are key to solving some of the world’s most important challenges. The NVIDIA accelerated computing platforms gives modern data centers the power to accelerate deep learning, machinelearning, and high performance computing workloads. Carlo’s career started off at Compaq as a telecom technology consultant, followed by various sales leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard. Carlo lives in Amsterdam with his wife and 4 children.

Self driving cars, intelligent medical imaging systems, and autonomous factory robots have moved quickly from ideas to reality. And it’s only the beginning. Giovanni Zanei
Vice President, Large Power Conversion, Vertiv 

Giovanni Zanei is Vice President at Vertiv with 19 years of experience in the critical power protection industry. He currently manages the global product line for Large Power Converters and UPS, focusing on developing power conversion solutions that address critical power protection infrastructure. His work supports emerging trends in large power, AI power protection, quality, and sustainability. Giovanni has a proven track record in leadership positions in business development, product line management and business strategy.

His expertise in identifying and solving complex problems, along with his entrepreneurial spirit, has enabled him to lead global power product portfolios with expanded responsibilities.

Giovanni is an early morning runner and loves trail running.

Arturo Di Filippi
Offering Director, Large Power, Vertiv 

Arturo and his team collaborate with customers to envision and build innovative infrastructures requiring Large Power products, with specific focus on smart power and energy management applications. Arturo joined Vertiv as global offering manager for large AC power UPS after experiences in heating industry, oil & gas and renewable energy and power. He holds a PhD in industrial engineering, master’s degree in mechanical engineering, an energy manager certification and is currently attending an MBA.

He has contributed to development of Dynamic Power Offering in Vertiv, leveraging on the concept of UPS as Power Center and integration with energy sources, and is currently focusing on how the AI loads management and high density requirements will shape the future product roadmap.

Arturo has a deep passion for football and even played at a semi-professional level, showcasing his love for the sport.

Francesco Mangano
Head of Engineering, Data4 Group 

Francesco Mangano is the Head of Engineering at Data4 Group, with over 10 years of experience in managing mission-critical facilities. He has a strong background in data center operations, having held key roles at Amazon Web Services, Colt Data Centre Services, and Bilfinger. Francesco specializes in electrical and mechanical infrastructure, operational management, and energy efficiency.

He currently oversees engineering operations across Data4’s highly connected and sustainable data center campuses, ensuring resilience and scalability for international cloud operators and major tech companies throughout Europe.

Phillip Marangella
Chief Marketing and Product Officer, EdgeConneX

Phillip Marangella is the Chief Marketing and Product Officer at EdgeConneX, where he develops and executes the company’s marketing and product strategies. With 25 years of experience in international marketing, strategy, and business development across the data center, telecom, and technology sectors, he brings significant expertise to his role.

Phillip serves on the marketing advisory boards for Lokker, Salute Mission Critical, Data Center Coalition, and Infrastructure Masons. His leadership has earned him several awards, including the PTC’23 Outstanding Diversity and Inclusion Champion Award for developing and mentoring HBCU Capstone Programs and the Datacloud Global Agent of Change Award in 2023. In addition, Phillip earned the Infrastructure Masons Champion Awards for Diversity & Inclusion and Education in 2021, and was recognized by DataCentre Magazine as a top-ten marketing executive.  

Before joining EdgeConneX, Phillip held key roles at companies like Equinix, Coresite, Verizon Business, MCI, Nortel, Globalstar, and Satphone. He also co-founded a tech consulting firm focused on international technology transfer and venture funding of university-developed technology.

Phillip holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego, and a Master’s in Multinational Commerce from Boston University. His extensive background and innovative approach drive growth at EdgeConneX.

Strategic Accounts Director, EMEA, Vertiv 

Ana Jakovčić is the Strategic Accounts Director for the EMEA region within Vertiv, based in Zagreb, Croatia. With more than 16 years of experience in electrical engineering, her career has evolved from site supervision and commissioning engineering to presales design and her current position in the sales department. Her robust engineering expertise enables her to collaborate effectively with customers, addressing their challenges in the fast-evolving data center and telecommunications industries.

Chief Commercial Officer, Conapto

Stefan has over 20 years of international sales, marketing, and business development experience working in the IT-industry for a variety of leading vendors. Prior to joining Conapto, Stefan has worked for companies like Ingram Micro, D-Link and more recently Juniper Networks in various capacities in both marketing and business development.

Currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer at Conapto, a Swedish provider of secure, flexible and sustainable data center colocation. Stefan is passionate about delivering great customer experience with focus on developing and executing the go-to-market strategy as well as the ecosystem of partners for the company.

Massimo Alessio Mauri,
Head of Facility Management & Real Estate, Cineca

Massimo graduated with a degree in architecture in 1995 and soon discovered a deep interest in energy and energy optimization, particularly within facilities. For over 15 years, he has applied this expertise to high-performance computing systems at CINECA, where he has played a key role in overseeing the installation of the consortium's most significant supercomputers.

In 2000, he had the opportunity to be a guest at the Cultural Virtual Lab (CVRLab) at the University of California, Los Angeles. Between 1999 and 2003, he contributed to the industrial design magazine "OTTAGONO" and collaborated with the Politecnico di Milano's Faculty of Design. Since 2009, he has been the Director of Facilities, focusing on energy and leveraging his holistic knowledge across various consortium structures.

In his leisure time, he enjoys a mix of architecture, basketball, and motorcycle touring.
