Specifications
Servers draw in cold air for cooling from the front and blow out the heated air at the back. In contrast, switches generally suck in cold air from the side and blow the air out at the side or from the back. This leads to cooling problems in racks which have a consistent separation of warm and cold air. Special air-conduction systems are needed for switch applications in order to ensure a safe, energyefficient solution. The SmartAisle™ SwitchTube is a safe and flexible supplement to the entire SmartAisle™ range. Different standard products are available depending on the switch type.
