Columbus, Ohio [March 1, 2022] - Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, today appointed Li Ning as Chairman of Greater China and promoted Edward Cui to President of Greater China. Both appointments are effective immediately.
Vertiv provides critical digital infrastructure solutions and services, including power, cooling and infrastructure management systems, for data centers, communication networks, and commercial and industrial facilities.
Li Ning has spent more than 25 years with Honeywell in APAC, most recently as Chairman of Honeywell Greater China, and serves as a strategic consultant to Vertiv. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University and an EMBA Degree from China Europe International Business School. As Chairman of Vertiv Greater China, Li Ning will assist the China leadership team in reaching growth targets.
Edward Cui has been with Vertiv for nearly 25 years and has extensive management experience in critical infrastructure fields. He has been leading the Greater China supply chain, business units, marketing, sales, and APAC R&D organizations during the past years. Cui holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree from Tsinghua University and an EMBA Degree from St. Louis University. As President of Greater China, Cui will be fully responsible for the business of Vertiv Greater China.
Li Ning and Edward Cui will lead the Vertiv Greater China team with a focus on our customers and the concept of "In China, For China," while continuing to create value for customers, partners, and society. They will do this through innovative technologies, solutions, and services, together with customers, to build a green and low-carbon digital future and energy world.
Robert Zhu retires after four years as President of Vertiv Greater China, having led the team to continuous growth of the business in the region.
